**About Newcastle Master Builders Apprentices**:
Newcastle MBA offers a pathway for individuals interested in obtaining full-time employment in a high demand trade while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Newcastle MBA will be your Employer for the duration of your Apprenticeship to handle everything administration wise and provide support and guidance while you’re gaining on the job skills with a valued Host Employer.
- Receive accurate and timely payments - MBA processes your weekly pay, superannuation, etc.
- Job Security - If your Host Employer runs low in work, MBA will attempt to find another Host Employer in order for you to continue and complete your Apprenticeship.
- Learn from and be mentored by industry experts.
- Don’t pay, get paid - TAFE Fees are covered and TAFE textbook costs are reimbursed to you.
- Receive personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout your Apprenticeship (Steel-Cap Boots, Hard Hat, Gloves, Hat, Vest, etc).
- Toolbox and basic toolkit provided on your induction day.
- Receive dedicated support from our Field Officers throughout your Apprenticeship.

**About the Host Employer/Role**:
Our Host Employer is a local Roofing company based in Central Coast that services from Sydney to the Hunter Region. They're a small crew with a focus on quality. They specialise in residential and commercial roofing projects such as metal roof plumbing, cladding, architectural projects, storm water, light structural steel and general construction. They're looking for a hardworking Apprentice with a strong work ethic to join their team in January 2025

You will gain an understanding and develop a large range of skills such as, installing fascia, gutter, leaf guard, downpipes, metal roofing and scaffold systems, measurements, problem solving and communication. You will also learn to work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient project completion.

**Desired Qualities**:

- A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of Roof Plumbing.
- Commitment to completing a 4-year Apprenticeship (TAFE studies and onsite skills).
- Find fulfillment in practical and hands-on tasks.
- Honest, hardworking, reliable and able to follow instructions.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills with the capability to ask questions when needed.
- Holds a current drivers licence or has reliable transportation to and from local job sites.
- Willing to travel - work between Sydney and the Hunter Region.
- White card or willing to obtain prior to starting.
