**The Role**:
Due to ongoing growth, our client, Sydney’s well-known premier property styling company, is looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join the team and support the current Warehouse Manager. They are looking for an ambitious individual who is team oriented and reliable as you will be responsible for managing the quality control division of the warehouse, systems management, bookings, logistics cover, and be compliant with OH&S procedures and regulations. This is a hands-on role where and it is expected that you will have responsibility for both delegating and participating in all tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the picking team, including organising daily picking of stock and ensuring all jobs are picked in full, on time and in specification.
- Manage systems for return of product, including systems for checking truck returns, directing product to correct areas, identifying stock for repair or sale and monitoring damage rates.
- Manage end of day procedures, including warehouse and vehicle security.
- Delegate tasks to meet business needs while incurring mínimal additional costs.
- Liaise with the Logistics Manager on day-by-day operations.

**About You**:

- **Forklift licence is required.**:

- High attention to detail.
- Excellent time management.
- Excellent data and numerical skills.
- Capable of safely conducting heavy lifting and other strenuous tasks.
- Basic computer software skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
