SALES PERSON - RECYCLED BRICKS, ROOF TILES AND PAVING

As Salesperson you will be trained to become a Brick/Paving/Roof Tile Matching Specialist. You will assist a mix of trades through to general consumer customers. We offer the largest range of recycled and discontinued bricks, roof tiles and pavers in Western Australia so our customers are seeking professional advice, service, and solutions.

This role is 4 ½ days per week. Tuesday to Saturday. It would be ideal for someone who enjoys the mix of working indoors and outdoors. This is a physically active role.

You will be responsible for
- Handling customer queries and offering solutions.
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service whilst maintaining and building further customer relations.
- Following the whole sales process with each customer through to delivery.
- Maintaining yard displays and quality of product.
- Cash handling responsibilities, as well as opening and closing procedures.
- Assisting the Manager and Senior Salesperson as needed in the daily running of the yard.

You will possess the following skills.
- Have an eye for detail and colour to identify and match products.
- Ability to work with competing priorities and complete tasks to a high standard.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow established processes and policies to a high degree.
- High collaborative teamwork ability
- Good presentation and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Requirement for a current Work Safe Forklift Truck Ticket would be an advantage.
- Current “C” class drivers’ license. Plus a reliable car as the public transport is very poor here.
- Good computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Permanent Australian resident's need only apply. As there is considerable training in the job so not suitable to someone planning on only working for a year.

Only applicants with a cover letter will be considered for the role. Two referees, with one being a previous employer within the last three years

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 34 per week

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
