Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing and recycling. Over 75 years, we've grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations - predominately in Australia and New Zealand.

We believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging.

**The Role**:
Reporting to the National Credit Manager at our Essendon Fields office, you will play a key role in managing and reducing aged debt, ensuring alignment with monthly targets, and optimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). You’ll take a proactive approach in monitoring credit risks, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance cash flow.

Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to navigate complex credit assessments. You’ll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders—including sales teams, finance, and customers—to mitigate risks, improve cash collections, and maintain strong business relationships.

**What you will do**:

- Proactively encourage and monitor the assessment of credit risk
- Identify and advise on areas that require change management
- Identify ways to minimise risk and improve on cash
- Investigate and understand risks pertaining to customer groups, geographical regions, divisions, industry sector information and current affairs
- Developing initiatives which enhance the efficiency of terms of trade
- Work in conjunction with Credit Manager to ensure accurate cash forecasting and budgetary planning
- Creating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
