**Female Support Worker Needed - Croydon Area**

**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking a **female Support Worker** for a participant in the Croydon area who requires assistance attending appointments and accessing local housing and community services. This is a **casual role** with flexible hours.

The participant presents with complex psychosocial and physical needs, and a new risk assessment will be developed to ensure the right match and safe service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide transport and accompany the participant to appointments and housing services.
- Offer respectful, trauma-informed support tailored to the participant’s needs.
- Maintain clear communication with the Serenity Home Care office and the participant’s care team.
- Keep accurate shift notes and reports.

**About You**:

- **Female Support Worker** (due to participant’s preference and care needs).
- Experience in supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities and/or complex needs.
- Ability to work with participants who may have multiple diagnoses and lived experiences of trauma.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Trauma-informed and patient approach to care.
- Current First Aid & CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and valid driver’s licence with a reliable, insured vehicle.

Pay: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
