**How will I help?**
This role will see you interface with a range of stakeholders to provide oversight and analysis of traded market risk activity in the Financial Markets business. You will also provide consultancy on market risk-related issues and engage with the business to improve market risk management capability. You will be supporting the development and maintenance of a robust and sustainable market risk management framework.

**What do I need?**
- At least 5 years’ experience in risk and financial services - with experience related to traded market risk.
- Proficiency in market risk concepts such as sensitivity measures, VaR and stress testing.
- An understanding of interest rate and FX derivative products and the pricing of such products, counterparty credit risk, margining and CCPs would all be advantageous.
- A demonstratable interest in financial markets - particularly interest rate and FX markets.
- Knowledge of Australian market risk regulation - particularly APS116.
- End User experience in Front Office system solutions (i.e.,Murex) is desirable.
- Technical knowledge of any of the following would be desirable: Python, SQL, VBA, R.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical skills. A degree in a quantitative field and certifications (CFA, FRM) would be highly regarded. Demonstrated ability to work with a collaborative approach - comfortable with engaging across multiple stakeholders, building effective relationships and working with others to achieve shared goals.
