This opportunity is in our Caboolture Sawmill facility, reporting to the Team Leader. This fixed nightshift role is a key part in the operations in ensuring a safe and efficient plant is maintained, supporting production operations to achieve designated goals.

Reporting to the Team Leader, this ‘hands on’ position is responsible for efficiently and safely conducting cleaning duties around the Sawmill. With the goal of helping support production activities through maintaining high standards of cleanliness and area presentation. This involves working within a small team functionally and dynamically.

A typical night shift will entail using an air pressure hose, removal of saw dust and small pieces of wood under machinery, bending and working in tight or low spaces.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
The successful applicant will:

- Work effectively in a safe manner and support a safe working environment in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies and standards
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude, with an attention to detail driving a wish to take pride in the departments presentation and operational success
- Participate in job rotation when required to support the requirements of the site
- Cleaning of all plant and equipment in a safe and competent manner, as to minimise risk of injury to a person or damage to the plant and equipment
- Maintain and improve housekeeping standards within established organisational standards.

Role requirements:

- Participate in job rotation where and when required through-out the site
- Must be prepared to undertake further training in order to improve skills base
- Ability to work autonomously, and as an integral part of a team
- Work permanent Shift Work with limited supervision
