Cleaner Aged Care Community

Sunnymeade Park Care community is currently looking for an experienced Cleaner to join the team at our Aged Care Community & Retirement Village located in Caboolture Queensland on a Permanent Part-Time basis.

**About the Role**

You will perform a range of support services for our aged care residents, working as part of a team to deliver best practice care in line with the organisations policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for the delivery of efficient and customer focused cleaning services across the facility. Your primary cleaning focus will the resident rooms and living areas, maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene. You will also be required to support the Housekeeper and Food Services teams from time to time, in the delivery of food services and laundry duties.

All duties are to be carried out within appropriate legislative standards to ensure the safety and welfare of the residents.

**Duties**
- Cleaning within our residential units including the residents rooms/bathrooms/living/ dining and communal areas, maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the facility
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and steam cleaning of floors, detail dusting, glass cleaning, and kitchen cleaning to support continued compliance to Infection Control and Food Safety Standards across all areas of the facility
- Assisting in the ongoing tidiness of all public areas and patient rooms including assisting with linen replacement
- Transportation and movement of equipment and stock across the facility as required
- Assist the Laundry assistant in managing the washing, drying, pressing, folding and return of resident laundry as required, and assist the Housekeeper as required to support quality and efficient service to residents including support with food service activities if required

- Demonstrate a high level of respect for residents’ property and privacy
- Have previous experience cleaning in a large organisation or commercial environment
- Have sound knowledge of OH&S procedures, relevant chemicals and safe work practices
- An understanding of infection control procedures
- Work effectively and efficiently with mínimal supervision as required and as part of a team

- Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
