Experienced Payroll Officer needed
**Your new company**Our client requires a support focused Payroll Officer to join their team on the Gold Coast. This position will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment. This company has a strong reputation in their industry and due to growth and a long-term strategy in place, they require an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team.
**Your new role**Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be an integral member of the Payroll team.Your duties will include:
Processing and performing the timely compilation of all payroll functions of wages and salary employees in a weekly and fortnightly process. Maintain all payroll data, files and personal information in accordance with privacy legislation. Provide a consistent payroll process for the Neumann Group of Companies.
**What you'll need to succeed**To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience operating as a Payroll Officer within a small to medium-sized company and have a high work ethic.Key skills will include:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in payroll processing
- Knowledge of manual and computerised payroll systems
- Experience with a time and attendance recording system is highly desirable.
- Intermediate to advanced level experience with Excel and Word
- Developed communication skills
- Good computer literacy and numerical data processing speed and accuracy
- Problem analysis and resolution skills
- Excellent time management skills.
