The Role
We're looking for a People & Culture Advisor to provide generalist HR advice and support to NGS employees across the entire employee lifecycle. This role supports the People Partnering Manager across a range of functions including employee relations, performance, reporting & analytics, engagement initiatives and cyclical HR activities.
**Key focus areas include**:
Providing first-level advice on all HR related queries including employee relations matters, policy interpretation and award guidance
Supporting the People Partnering Manager with the implementation of a number of projects & initiatives including engagement, structural or workplace change, communication planning, and internal training
Supporting the People Partnering Manager in driving core cyclical HR activities including the annual performance cycle, remuneration review, salary surveys and WGEA reporting
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing efficiencies, particularly across the HR Management System, ELMO
Preparing key people metrics through regular reporting to provide insights that drive retention and improve culture.
You have
Tertiary qualifications in HR
At least 3 years’ experience in a HR administration or advisory role delivering HR advice
Knowledge of relevant employment legislation
Experience interpreting modern awards and HR policies
Experience using HR management systems
Desirable
- Experience using ELMO, HR management system
- Microsoft Excel proficiency including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
