This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy swimming, love working with children, who want to teach the skills of swimming and the value of water safety.

**The Role**

As a **Swim Teacher** you will teach effective Swimming and Water Safety to help grow our swim program. You may be required to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes.

Our facility includes an indoor 8 lane 50m heated pool, an indoor heated purpose built 18m program pool and an out door heated toddlers pool. We are looking for experienced, outgoing, fun loving teachers that are willing to work mornings, afternoons and weekends.

You must have TSW & infant and preschool qualifications. Access and Inclusions and Adults would be preferred also. We run private lessons, group lessons for all age groups as well as school swimming programs & Day Care swimming programs, we are also looking to run Access & Inclusions programs of a weekend.

Skills & Attributes:

- ** AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (Essential)**:

- ** Current AUSTSWIM Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety**:

- ** AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (Desirable but not essential)**:

- Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
- ** Current First Aid (Level 2)**:

- ** Current CPR Certificate**:

- ** Blue Card (Working With Children Check & National Police Check)**:

- Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
