This is a great opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy swimming, love working with children, who want to teach the skills of swimming and the value of water safety.

The Role

As a Swim Teacher you will teach effective Swimming and Water Safety to help grow our swim program. You may be required to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes.

We are looking for experienced fun-loving swim teachers with infant's and pre school qualifications. Pool Lifeguard Qualifications would also be preferred but not essential.

Our facility is indoor and operates year-round. This position will provide future growth within the industry and increased hours as numbers build.

You will possess strong time management and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. Relevant industry qualifications are essential.

Skills & Attributes

- Energetic, innovative and decisive teaching style

- Excellent verbal communication skills

- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends and must be empathetic to the needs of the classes

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team

Qualifications

- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate

- Working With Children Check (or equivalent) & National Police Check

- Current AUSTSWIM Certificate – or equivalent
