Loafer Bread is looking for a Front of House manager to lead our small team in service and coffee.
- Work with delicious products that are made using excellent organic and locally sourced ingredients

Loafer Bread is a small, busy bakery specialising in sourdough bread, high quality pastries, specialty coffee, and savoury items.
We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills, who enjoys working with people, to join our team as Front of House Manager.

As we are a small venue we are seeking someone with strong coffee experience to lead as senior barista and trainer of junior staff.

The Key Responsibilities are:
Leading the front of house team in day-to-day operations

Training and managing the team in coffee skills, product knowledge and sales

Writing the roster for the staff

Assist in recruiting and training new team members

Implementing and maintaining systems for both front of house and the bakery

Stocktaking and ordering of supplies

You will report directly to the owner, ensuring day to day service is smooth and our customers are consistently happy, that our venue's cleanliness is maintained to the highest standards and financial targets are met.
The role requires a leader who can manage busy and quiet periods well, someone who can be part of service 5 days a week, but also collaborate with the owner when it comes to suggesting positive change across our food and beverage offerings.
