**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Summary of the role**:
- Mercy Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Community Care Unit (CCU) located in Werribee
- The Social Worker liaises with carers and families to facilitate the appropriate clinical management of clients with a mental illness.
- The Social Worker provides quality, recovery focused care and treatment to consumers in the context of a holistic framework and in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
- This role works collaboratively and effectively with other internal and external programs/organizations, engages in professional development activities and supervision, and participates in-service professional development activities.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- A current valid Victorian Driver’s license.
- Desirable: Additional qualifications/experience in mental health clinical practice.

- Mercy Mental Health (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in south west metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
