**The Company**

Maintenance Manager required to join our client, who are an iconic Australian owned food manufacturing company based in Altona. With a history dating back to 1852, this is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation, who are committed to providing a safe and supportive working environment for all team members.

**Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Coordinating the internal maintenance team and external contractors
- Providing hands-on support with the maintenance of all production machinery and associated equipment
- Capital project works and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- The ongoing development of the Maintenance Management System
- Working closely with all cross functional departments to efficiently resolve maintenance issues
- A degree or trade qualifications in engineering / mechanical discipline
- Proven Maintenance Manager / Supervisor experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment
- An understanding of GMP and lean manufacturing principles
- A solid understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- A team player mentality with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills, both written / verbal and the ability to build moral
