**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking an experienced** National Payroll Manager **to lead and manage our payroll operations across Australia. As the National Payroll Manager, you’ll lead and inspire a dedicated payroll team to ensure seamless, accurate, and timely payroll operations for Claro employees.

This role is essential in maintaining compliance and delivering precise payroll processing in line with our established schedules. You’ll oversee a skilled team of payroll specialists, responsible for managing around 2,000 pays across monthly and fortnightly cycles, providing the critical support and leadership needed to keep our payroll processes efficient and reliable. This is an opportunity to make a real impact on our team and employees nationwide and support them in the important services they provide to our clients.

**You will be responsible for, but not limited to**:

- Leading a team of payroll specialists, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Implementing and improving payroll systems, policies, and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Addressing and resolving payroll-related queries or issues raised by employees or other teams.
- Liaising with HR and Finance teams to ensure integration of payroll data with employee records and financial systems
- Developing, promoting and maintaining open communication and good working relationship with HR, I.T. and other internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligations e.g. PAYG, STP, Fair Work, superannuation, payroll tax
- Fostering a fun, inclusive and supportive team environment aligned with company values.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in payroll management, preferably in a national or multi-state organisation within Community or Disability sectors
- Adept experience with systems integration, payroll transitions and complicated payroll projects
- Good judgement and problem-solving ability and capable of understanding the impact of decision making on the business
- High level of computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and data management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in dealing with sensitive information
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment

- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Evidence of current work rights in Australia
