**About the opportunity**:
Northcott is currently looking for 2 committed, caring and professional individuals to join our Supported Living Team in **Cootamundra**, on a Permanent Part-time basis. The lines on offer are **16 and 21 hours per fortnight**.

**Typical duties might include**:

- Supporting customers to develop and maintain independence.
- Implementing behaviour support plans aimed at supporting individuals who demonstrate challenging behaviours to achieve their goals.
- Supporting customers with personal care including bowel care, and other health and hygiene issues such as eating, dressing, toileting and showering.
- Undertaking various household tasks including mealtime management, cleaning, shopping and other community access activities.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, complex/challenging behaviours, epilepsy, autism and who require PEG feeding
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and confidence to drive a large wheelchair accessible van
- Evidence of compliance with any Public Health Orders applicable at the time - including evidence of a COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindication certificate if applicable to you,
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our customers
- Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their individual care plans
- Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster; you will be required to work across morning, afternoon and active night shifts, including weekend and public holiday shifts
- NSW Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
