**Job Description**:
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Master Project Scheduler to deliver a scheduling service to a key program. You'll be working on a high profile program delivering a Health Management System; a meaningful initiative that enables and supports the Australian defence operations.
This role will see you work in a team of Project Managers and Australian Government stakeholders to develop and maintain the scheduling capability and artefacts of control. You will also assess project risks/issues with the Deputy Program Director, Project Managers and senior stakeholders, helping to develop schedule controls to meet customer goals and objectives.
A typical day will see you;
- Implement best practices across the program with regards to Scheduling and the service capability (Scheduling as a Service);
- Develop, monitor and review project schedules;
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers and other internal and external stakeholders;
- Assess project risks/issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives;
- Manage the Program schedule and prepare the status reports;
- Analyse data and prepare reviews;
- Undertake EVM procedures according to existing procedures, and support financial reporting requirements;
- Work with program management to plan and manage program resource requirements;
- Work with the Leidos Australia Scheduling as a Service (SCaaS) unit as a member of the team.
**Qualifications**:
**About You & What You’ll Bring**
- Ability to engage, lead and influence a complex set of stakeholders;
- Demonstrable ability to consistently produce excellent results in a complex environment;
- Working knowledge of other related disciplines including forecasting and cost estimation;
- Expertise in MS Project;
- Advanced experience in EVM and related project financials.
**_ This role will require the successful applicant to have an active Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance._**
