Your typical day as a Principal Data Modeller may include:
Undertaking complex analysis and development activities in a range of technologies

You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work. Key accountabilities of the role are:
Extract and analyse datasets, including confidential and protected data from a range of sources, using analytics systems and tools
Identify and adapt to the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualisation
Lead the implementation of data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual, logical, physical data models.
Mentor and coach team members to support overall high performance.
Define, prepare, govern data modelling and design standards tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Strong leadership and communication skills
Understanding and working knowledge of SQL, agile process, data modelling, business modelling and data flow development in Data Warehouse utilising different data sources
Knowledge of CI CD development practices such as Git, Jenkins
Experience with the tools such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse, Data Bricks, SAP HANA 2.0 XSA.
