We require an experienced CAD (Computer Aided Design) Software specialist to undertake a key technical support role within a large globally recognised blue chip organisation currently undertaking a large multi billion dollar manufacturing program of works. Your experience will include experience in using/supporting 3D CAD systems on large engineering projects, understanding of Detailed Design process, working from an IM&T help desk system, familiar with the ITIL framework, and having worked within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Your role will include:

- Providing support to users of the primary 3D modelling and 2D drawing software
- Good problem solving skills to identify root cause of issues and develop resolution to software issues Raising issues with Vendors
- Configuration of the CAD system to support the business requirements
- Develop and document processes and procedures in conjunction with the end users to maximise the benefit from the Engineering tools
- Script development.
- Work closely with Business Analysts to develop solutions
- Interaction with Projects personnel for modelling requirements definition.
- Creation of training course materials and training delivery.
- Assist with the definition of CAD software enhancement requirement.
- User Access management.
- Assess new versions of the Engineering software from the supplier for benefits to the business. Provide input to decision on whether to adopt new versions of the software.
- Creation and execution of test plans for new software versions

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- CAD: 2 years (preferred)
