**About the role**:
This is a role for a data governance expert with risk advisory experience to provide strategic direction to our clients on their journey to greater data maturity. This includes working with clients on their accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data, while also mitigating the risks associated with data breaches.

On a day to day basis this role will partner with clients to ensure data quality, conduct data audits and produce data driven reports. You’ll also establish and implement robust data governance frameworks; develop and implement data policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data assets. Most importantly, you’ll ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to data privacy and security.

**About You**
- Previous experience in a similar role in data governance or risk management in a large enterprise or government environment
- In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, data management principles, and industry standards, such as BCBS 239, GDPR, etc
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certifications in DAMA, DMBOK, data management, risk management, or related fields are highly desirable
- A good understanding of the progress of adoption of Data Lifecycle, performing audits with stakeholders to validate compliance
- Experience in Identifying, defining and maintaining Data Governance workflows, identifying, defining and maintaining data definitions and corresponding metadata across business functions and data domains
