**The Opportunity**:
The Innovation Adoption Lead is accountable for designing, implementing and governing an innovation mechanism across the organisation to execute ElectraNet’s Enhanced Ways of Working Strategy. This role requires a proactive leader who can help shape business operating models to ensure every division is equipped with the capabilities to optimise and continuously improve systems and processes and to strategically leverage new and disruptive technologies.

As a senior leadership role, this position anticipates and navigates the challenges of fostering rapid discovery & ideation capability to transform critical pain points to proof-of-concept solutions while maintaining a focus on ElectraNet’s core business requirements, values, and strategic objectives.

You will need to communicate effectively to inform and influence strategic business decisions around innovation and ways of working, translating strategy into action. You will achieve this through building effective relationships and robust outputs that align with business requirements to inform program delivery planning and influence prioritisation across wide stakeholder groups. Success is evaluated by the accomplishment of the business objectives within scope and aligned with business priorities.

**About You**:
To be successful in this critical role, you will possess the following:

- Significant experience as a senior leader with proven experience in leading innovation within a complex organisational structure
- Strong understanding of AI and its implications for workforce transformation and business model innovation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive change
- Significant experience in managing a diverse portfolio of functions
- Demonstrated leadership in the design and implementation of continuous improvement, cultural change and organisational transformation initiatives.
- Experience in corporate governance and risk management
