We often seek to employ people with uplifting and warm personalities to work across our established aged care homes in Victoria.

**Housekeeping** staff will provide and maintain our homes with a high level of cleanliness and hygiene by following strict OHS requirements.

You will take pride is making sure residents clothes are freshly laundered, ironed and placed away appropriately.

You will ensure bedrooms, floors, dining and lounge areas are hygienically cleaned and areas are free of obstruction.

You will need a warm and welcoming personality; your role is to get to know residents and chat to them as you work keeping in mind it is 'their home' and you will get to know their individual choices and wants.

Laundry assistants assist with washing, drying and ironing of residents garments.

**Our Relationship Model of Care are focused on each individual resident’s needs and choices, via our staff becoming an extended part of the resident’s family, by building strong professional and meaningful relationships, with the aim of ensuring every resident has their best day possible.**

**Requirements**:

- Able to work a minimum of 3 days per week for permanent part time contract
- Available to work some weekend days, flexible to pick up extra shifts
- Clear communication, empathy for elders and enjoy making someone’s day
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Covid -19 vaccination x 2 and Booster (mandatory)

**NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)**
Royal Freemasons is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must have a completed NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an **International Police Check** for those that have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.

**Mandatory Vaccines **All aged care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
