**Position: Home Care Support Worker**

**Type: Permanent Part-Time OR Casual**

**Location: Footscray, VIC**

**About You**:

- **Certificate III in Aged Care/ Individual Support or similar.**:

- Flexibility and availability to work **Monday - Friday 7am to 6pm.**:

- Valid Drivers Licence and willingness to travel up to 30 mins to services. **Own Car mandatory.**:

- Current First Aid, CPR and Police Check.
- A genuine love for older people and a commitment to their well-being.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging in friendly conversations.
- Confidence to work independently.
- A caring and compassionate nature with the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly clients.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- **Domestic Assistance**:Provide light housekeeping duties including cleaning, meal preparation, ironing and laundry.
- **Personal Care**:Provide personal care including assistance with dressing, grooming, showering, bathing, toileting, nutrition and eating.
- **Transport and Mobility**:Facilitate community access, recreational, shopping, errands, attending appointments and leisure options by transporting by vehicle.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to our elderly clients.
- Engage in friendly conversations and meaningful interactions.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of our clients.
- Report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
