Osborne Richardson are Food Manufacturing specialist recruiters, and we are delighted to be exclusively appointed by one of Australia's most iconic brands in the search for their next Quality Assurance Manager. This role is located in Southwest Melbourne.

Team Management:
Leadership role with six direct reports, requiring strong coordination of QA officers.
Site Overview:
Small site with approximately 120 staff.
Currently operating to a high standard, with the focus on maintaining and improving existing quality systems.
Supplies value add products to many of Australia’s most iconic fast-food chains.

**Responsibilities**:

- Achieve optimal food safety and quality in line with customer and legislative requirements.
- Execute the Food Safety and Quality Culture procedure through day-to-day work.
- Internal Auditing
- Maintain the site-based internal auditing team, ensuring audits are within the required scope to standardise procedures and processes.
- Review, maintain, and communicate food safety and quality policies and procedures.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Assist and advise managers regarding compliance with food safety legislation and quality guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements for food safety and quality management.
- Record Keeping - responsible for maintaining accurate QA records.

About You (Qualifications and Skills):

- Extensive previous experience in food processing and distribution.
- Knowledge of food science, related agricultural science, safety, or relevant industry experience and training.
- Specific knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP.
- Excellent leadership skills, including conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Excellent people and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Current state driver's license.
