**Introduction**:
Hampshire House is a co-educational school-based centre catering for children from 6 months to 5 years and achieved an exceeding rating in our accreditation in 2021. It is essential that Hampshire House staff are committed to being co-learners with the children and are prepared to encourage and support their inquiries of the world.

We are looking for a full time Diploma educator to join our wonderful team in Hampshire House. You must be available to work between the hours of 7am-6pm. Our centre is purpose built, influenced by the pedagogy from Reggio Emilia.

The centre is well resourced, with ICT integrated into the rooms with the use of ActivBoards and iPads to support children's learning. Staff are able to utilise the school's extensive resources and facilities including access to the school's well-being services.

**Description**:
The key responsibilities of the position include (but are not limited to):
Creating a safe, supportive, stimulating and educational environment for children.
Ensuring the health, hygiene and nutritional needs of the children are met.
Implementing the centre's agreed behaviour management strategies.
Working as part of a team to ensure high quality care and education for all children in Hampshire House.
Designing and implementing the learning experiences that are contextually relevant to the children and address the early years learning framework (EYLF) and national quality standards (NQS).
Utilising a broad range of practice to support the learning needs of each child, and extend and enrich learning experiences.
Attending staff meetings as required, contributing to these meetings through shared observations of children and by sharing new ideas.
Building and maintaining positive, engaging and respectful relationships with families.
Remaining committed to child protection and contribute to meeting the child safe program standards.

**Skills and Experiences**:
**We are looking for educators who**:
has the ability to engage children and inspire them to obtain the best results.
possesses an ACECQA approved Diploma in Children's services qualification.
holds a current ACECQA approved First Aid qualification current ACECQA.
holds an approved Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualification.
has experience in programming and planning for children aged 0-5 years.
can develop and maintain positive work relationships, liaise with a range of stakeholders.
will actively support the ethos of this Anglican Independent School.

Any applicant will be required to be fully COVID vaccinated, supply a current Working with Children Check Number or Application Number.
