**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Education in Faith
- Support and participate in the faith life of the College including a commitment to the Mission Statement, ethos of the College and personal formation.
- Assist staff and students to develop their sense of belonging as members of the school through participation in rituals and celebrations that foster the development of a relationship - with each other, with God and with the community.
- Inspire the College community to bring the Salesian charism to life.
- Work to create a culture of service focusing on Salesian values.
- Implement a uniquely Salesian pedagogy of learning through relationship and presence’ based on reason, religion and loving-kindness.

Catholic Identity Assistant
- Filing and organising Catholic Identity Resources.
- Assisting with controlling resources and stock by sourcing prices for supplies, compiling stock orders, and following up on delayed.
- Sourcing appropriate online subscriptions for the College.
- Uploading Daily Prayers via Schoolbox.
- Uploading communication to the community via Schoolbox.
- Be an active member and assist with the Salesian Social Justice Co-Curricular Group.
- Attend OzBosco (a 2-night, 3-day Youth Ministry gathering).

Religious Education -Curriculum
- Photocopying and preparing teacher aids and resources as required.
- Work within the classroom to be a support to the students in Religious Education classes.
- Assisting with incursions/excursions when required.
- Assisting with the planning of events as part of Year 12 School Based RE: booking presenters, special guests.
- Assist with the creation of lessons as part of Year 12 School Based RE.

Community Mass
- Preparing the Order of Service and PowerPoints for the Mass
- Assisting with preparing the Chapel for masses and events
- Assist with the ordering of supplies for liturgical celebrations, and
- Attend Community Mass at the College.

Reflection Days, Retreats, Immersions & Special Events
- Assisting in the preparation and organisation of special events and projects by:

- Preparing resources for the day: Ordering supplies, sorting, packing.
- Assist with bus and venue bookings for outside events
- Assist with incursion/excursion permission forms and Plan-Check-Go Compliance
- Help lead parts of the day eg: offer a reflection, engage in dialogue with our young people, and
- Invited to attend special events which may occur outside of school hours (discussion will be had prior to any events which are out of hours).

Administrative Support
- Assist with the processing of outgoing mail and maintain necessary postal supplies.
- Set up/pack down events in the Mansion (catering).
- Relieve other administrative team functions as required during absences, breaks and when directed.

Child Safety
- Be familiar with and comply with the College Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct, and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety.
- Assist in the provision of a child safe environment for students.

**SALARY**

$21,500 - $30,000 plus 10.5% Superannuation
