**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Education in Faith
- Support and participate in the faith life of the College including a commitment to the Mission Statement, ethos of the College and personal formation.
- Assist staff and students to develop their sense of belonging as members of the school through participation in rituals and celebrations that foster the development of a relationship - with each other, with God and with the community.
- Inspire the College community to bring the Salesian charism to life.
- Work to create a culture of service focusing on Salesian values.
- Implement a uniquely Salesian pedagogy of learning through relationship and presence’ based on reason, religion and loving-kindness.

Assistance in Technology Areas
- Adherence to Health and Safety Policies and Procedures in relation to the working areas.
- Assist to order, purchase, receipt and maintain appropriate stocks of materials and consumables for the Technology areas.
- Under supervision, prepare materials, supplies, equipment, and set up classrooms, as required by teachers for their class work.
- Assist with the supervision of students in classrooms.
- Assist with any external suppliers of equipment and material.
- Regularly charge the batteries in the Robotics classes.
- Provide support in the collection of materials as well as maintaining the robots and Ipads in working order.
- Online ordering, receiving and checking stock when it arrives. Replenishing any existing stock or equipment.
- Collating weekly food orders to ensure that all ingredients and equipment are on hand at the beginning of each lesson.
- Purchasing specialised foods for students with food intolerances and specific religions.
- Processing invoices in a timely manner and forward to school accounts department.
- Providing data and assist teaching staff in calculating the cost per student of ingredients for individual and group recipes.
- General cleaning of equipment and appliances, including helping with laundering of linen for classes.
- Assisting to check food supplies for use-by-date, temperatures and storage conditions, rotating stock.
- Reporting maintenance issues.
- Assisting with keeping kitchens, prep and storage areas clean and maintained to a hygienically safe
and presentable standard at the end of the last class of the day.
- Assist with any minor upkeep of equipment

General Duties
- Contribute to a healthy and safe environment for yourself and others and comply with all safe work policies and procedures.
- Attend school meetings and after school services / assemblies, sporting events, mass, community and faith days as required by the Principal.
- Demonstrate professional and collegiate relationships with colleagues.
- Other duties as directed by the Principal

**SALARY**

$21,500 - $30,000 plus 10.5% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification
