**About Us**:Our purpose-built service has been designed to promote the very best care and learning for infants, toddlers, junior pre-schoolers, and preschool-aged children. To fulfill our centre pedagogy, based on holistic teaching approaches and to meet increased occupancy, we are building a team of extraordinary educators.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Childcare Educator / Lead Educator for our Glebe centre.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Create and implement engaging and age-appropriate learning programs for children.
- Build positive and meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
- Support children’s development and ensure their individual needs are met.
- Mentor and guide less experienced staff (for Lead Educator role).

**Essential Criteria**:

- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., Certificate III, Diploma, or higher).
- Demonstrated understanding of EYLF and NQS.
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to children’s wellbeing.
- Have ability to develop warm & respectful relationships with children & families
- Be computer literate as we provide electronic programming & portfolios
- Have ability to observe & document children’s learning and their progress
- Have at least two years’ experience educating and caring for children within the birth - 5 years age group
- Plan, coordinate, and implement the program with activities for the class in accordance with the centre’s policies
