**About Creek Street Christian College**
Founded in 1981, Creek Street Christian College is a growing Christian school located in the beautiful and thriving regional city of Bendigo, Victoria. As a K - 12 school, it operates under the governance of the College Council and serves as a ministry of the Creek Street Church. The College was established to provide families with a Christian education within a caring environment where students are encouraged to develop their God-given talents and academic abilities.
**About the Position**
The College is currently seeking to appoint a Principal to commence in July 2025.
As the Council’s delegate, the Principal’s purpose is to lead all operational functions of the College, including educational practices and programs, and the management of its daily activities to fulfill its mission. The Principal will also be required to provide strategic leadership of the College staff to continue the growth it has experienced in recent years while maintaining its distinctive Christian culture through adherence to biblical principles as set out in the College’s Statement of Doctrines and Belief.
The Principal is integral to building and leading a team that will provide students with a high standard of education in a caring and disciplined environment.
This is an excellent opportunity, with the Council genuinely desiring to empower, support and work with an educational leader who can be instrumental in leading the College during this exciting era of growth.
- A strong Christian faith with an ability to demonstrate active church involvement, display a proven lifestyle firmly founded on Biblical Christian principles and demonstrate a love and reverence for God’s Word as the foundation for Christian living.
- A commitment to the College’s Statement of Doctrines and Belief.
- Proven proficiency in educational compliance, human resource management, risk management, finance, leadership, team development, marketing, and excellence in school governance and administration.
- A visionary, innovative and strategic leader with a passion to increase the influence of Christian education.
- Proven experience in school leadership, demonstrating an ability to lead, manage and motivate a range of stakeholders, including staff, students and parents to achieve the College’s mission.
- A commitment to child safety and growing a caring and disciplined culture.
- Ability to act properly, honestly, faithfully, respectfully and diligently.
