**About the role**
Xtreme Services Group is seeking experienced NV1 & NV2 Security Officer to join our team in Canberra, ACT, on a full-time or part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing security services company that provides high-quality security solutions to a range of clients.
- Immediate Start for one of our new contracts within ACT
- Gatehouse, Monitoring and Patrolling positions

**What you'll be doing**
- Guarding and monitoring assigned sites to ensure the safety and security of people, property and assets
- Responding to and managing incidents, emergencies and alarm activations in a professional and timely manner
- Conducting access control and visitor management procedures for site staff & contractors
- Maintaining detailed incident and shift logs
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures and relevant legislation
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders

**What we're looking for**
- A valid NV1 or NV2 security clearance
- Minimum 6 months' experience as a security guard or similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and vigilant approach to security
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
