**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**Location: Bells Creek, QLD**
To develop, lead and manage the QA function, maintaining the Quality Management System to ensure the consistent delivery of quality products to customers. Support the business to achieve its operational and strategic goals through monitoring effective QA practices identifying and providing corrective actions as required.
- Previous experience in the meat industry
- Certified internal auditor
- HACCP certification
- Familiarity with BRC standards and compliance
- Experience with Halal production and export requirements
- Proven track record as a senior QA Manager in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in implementing QA systems (and processes) that consistently meet the standards of our customers in an audit environment
- Ability to display excellent judgement, drive, and initiative
- Experience in a high growth organisation
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
**Qualifications**:
- 10+ years’ experience in the field or equivalent
- Successfully completed higher education in Food Science and Technology or equivalent
