Great opportunity for an experienced Chef/Supervisor to join our team at Lonestar Ribhouse East Maitland
Applicants must have strong experienced in busy kitchens, being able to work calmly under pressure during a fast paced, high volume service.
Must be mature and motivated in their approach to work and communicate effectively in a busy team environment.
Key Requirements are:
- Supporting the RM with management of the Kitchen & Back of House Team Members
- Coordinate and maintain the quality of food and presentation of all meals
- Conduct kitchen quality control measures including stock & inventory management, daily checklists and cleaning rosters
- Ensure company compliance of all OH&S/WH&S requirements including kitchen cleanliness and staff/customer safety
- Hard working, reliable team player with positive attitude
To be successful in this role you will:
- 2+ years experience using a grill (flame grill advantageous)
- Proven leadership/management experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of stock and inventory control
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment with high pressure
- Produce quality product with exceptional presentation
- Effectively manage time and prioritise tasks and understand sequence of service
- Have excellent communication and leadership skills
- Be reliable and have flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends
- Have excellent personal hygiene and presentation
