To do this successfully you will:
- Coordinate the tracking and reporting of AIAA’s Corporate Policy governance framework including management of the policy register for all policies and standards
- Support a network of coordinators in each business unit to ensure AIAA remains compliant with our Corporate Policy Governance Framework
- Provide secretariat support to the required management committees, including Governance Risk Committee and support secretaries for the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and Finance Risk Committee.
- Triaging and resolving various system, data, process and risk framework queries supporting our Third Party Management system
- Conduct analysis to evaluate and enhance management of key data and users on the key operational risk systems
- Contribute to the creation, delivery and interpretation of key operational risk insights
- Support the team in preparation of risk reports to management and/or relevant committees as required
- Coordinate the tracking and reporting of AIAA’s Policy Governance Framework including all policies and standards
- Participate in targeted assurance reviews as requested to identify weaknesses and make recommendations for improvements
- Work with the broader Enterprise Risk & Compliance team to support the business to embed an effective risk culture and champion the importance of effective risk management practices.
- Previous work experience in the Australia Financial Services Industry
- Practical experience with operational risk management frameworks, especially in respect to Risk Management systems would be highly regarded but not essential
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience working with data and strong attention to detail
- Critical thinking ability and an analytical and innovative mindset
- Understanding of the regulatory environment as well as key legislation impacting on business activities in the financial services sector would be advantageous.
