**About the Role**
We are looking for a Kitchen Hand who is eager to support our kitchen operations. In this role, you’ll assist with preparing sandwiches and other menu items, help with general food prep, and keep our kitchen running smoothly with dishwashing and cleaning duties. Your role will also include some front-of-house work, so a friendly attitude and willingness to help wherever needed are essential.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with the preparation of sandwiches and other menu items, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Perform general food prep tasks, including cutting, slicing, and organizing ingredients.
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing dishes and keeping work areas tidy.
- Assist the front of house during busy periods, including clearing tables and supporting service staff.
- Support the team in maintaining food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a great customer experience.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers in front-of-house roles.

**About You**
- Previous experience in a kitchen, café, or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic food preparation skills and a willingness to learn; training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to assist wherever needed.
- Experience with front-of-house duties and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and a commitment to food safety standards.
- Able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.

**How to Apply**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Rotating roster

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
- Kitchen: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 07/10/2024
