Your new role as Maintenance Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight of the delivery of quality and reliable maintenance and rectification services to a high standard, while ensuring all OHS and safety compliance is adhered to. You’ll support a team of Engineering and Maintenance leaders who will assist in ensuring the Group Operation is supported and aircraft are returned to service in a safe and efficient manner. We’re a high performing team, and we each have the opportunity to add value and make an impact on the business.
You’ll have
- Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably with large groups of people- Strong operational background with a well-developed understanding of commercial, financial and business issues- Significant experience in Aviation Maintenance Operations at a Management level- Proactive, with the ability to negotiate solutions, resolve conflicts and manage resources effectively and efficiently- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to work to a designated timeline- Highly effective communicator with the ability to communicate with all levels of management- Forward thinking with the ability to understand the ‘big picture’- A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement principles- Qualifications as Avionics or Mechanical LAME (desirable)- Required to be Part 145 CASA Form 4 (Responsible Manager) holder
