We need an experienced production manager for our busy and growing workshop in Keysborough.

You will lead a team of nine workers and oversee the production of customised architectural products for residential and commercial projects.

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Lead and motivate workshop team by providing clear and concise instructions and performing on the job training
- You'll work closely with our foreman and project administrator to align our dynamic production schedule and achieve deadlines
- Responsible for our team's safety, workshop organisation, and production flow
- Create, implement and streamline manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems
- Implement, monitor, and support operations and product standards
- Improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity
- Deliver improved products and brand quality
- Accountable for meeting production goals and enjoy being part of the team's success

**Experience & Qualification**
- Familiar with the principles of LEAN manufacturing
- Previous experience with ERP software - we are implementing a new system in our factory
- Experience supervising or managing a team in a metal fabrication environment
- 2 years' experience in metal fabrication and knowledge of welding, folding, and engineering
- Coach, lead and teach staff within a metal fabrication environment (preferred)
- Clear and concise communication skills and ability to work to tight deadlines while having the passion and energy to achieve targets.
