**APS6 - Program Manager, Digitisation Projects**:

- Manage and support the team digitising the National Library's collections
- Be the escalation point for digitisation issues arising with external vendors and internal stakeholders
- It is desirable for applicants to have relevant technical experience with digitisation of heritage materials and/or project management

The Library is seeking to fill the position of **Program Manager, Digitisation Projects (APS6)** in the Digitisation Projects Section of the Collaboration Branch. A merit pool may be established from this recruitment activity which may be used to fill similar vacancies at the Library.

In this interesting role, you will undertake complex work under limited direction. You will oversee allocation of digitisation projects as a part of a broader team setting, ensuring that they are effective, efficient and sustainable. This includes:

- Managing mass digitisation of collection material to be delivered and discovered via Trove.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining workflows and supporting documentation for scanning, Optical Character Recognition and other content processes.
- Monitoring project milestones, timelines, targets, specifications and budgets, including where applicable for contractual obligations.
- Providing strategic advice on digitisation projects, processes and supporting business systems.
