**About the business -**

We are a local family owned Flooring & Window covering business servicing the greater Newcastle & Lake Macquarie & Hunter regions.

Our beautifully presented showroom displays an extensive selection of carpet, timber, laminate, hybrid and vinyl flooring plus a gorgeous display of custom made curtains and blinds.

As business owners we pride ourselves in working alongside our team providing an environment where their existing strengths are utilized and providing assistance to grow in their knowledge and career.

**About the role -**
- Part-time (with potential to fulltime) Flooring & Window Coverings Sales Consultant. This is a permanent role and salary will be determined by your experience and fit for our well established team.
- End to end client management from initial in-store consultation, quote, product ordering and booking in installation.
- You will be required to provide a healthy base of product information (training provided) and advice to customers on product suitability. Your passion and understanding of interior decorating is highly valued.
- We open 9am -5pm (Mon -Fri) and rotate Saturdays 9am -2pm (NO SUNDAYS)

**To be successful you must**:

- Demonstrate outstanding customer service and communication skills. Our customers love us as much as we love them.
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills and show initiative. We want people who think of our business as if it’s their own.
- A demonstrated interest in interior design and an eye for detail. You will work with mums and dads on their reno’s & new builds as well as some of Newcastle’s leading architects, builders and designers.
- Measure and quote experience is highly valued but not essential.
- Intermediate admin & computer skills. You must be able to learn our industry software.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
