**Our Business**
Global Investment Banking focuses on building long-term relationships with large corporations, financial institutions and financial sponsors. We have cultivated a ‘best in class’ reputation by providing strong advisory expertise and capitalizing on powerful M&A, debt and equity product expertise to deliver integrated financial solutions.
We require an additional Analyst headcount for our Financial Institutions team who have been working on numerous high profile transactions including some of the biggest financial services deals of 2021, including acting as advisor to NAB on the acquisition of Citi’s consumer business, Dai-Ichi TAL on the acquisition of Westpac’s Life or IAG’s sale of their stake in the AmBank joint venture
**Duties include**
- Ability to operate as project / deal team lead, driving the work product and transaction processes
- Participate in the execution of equity and debt financing and M&A transactions
- Perform in-depth financial, valuation, product and industry analysis, and due diligence
- Prepare pitch books, client presentations and help create live deal materials
- Build financial / three-statement operating/ leveraged buyout models
- Attend client meetings as you build your network and experience
- Help to generate ideas and opportunities for new and existing clients
- Learn from, and work with, teams consisting of professionals drawn from across the business, including senior bankers within your group, experts in other areas of the firm and colleagues from around the globe
**Requirements**:
- Investment Banking experience or Big 4 accounting experience (corporate finance, transaction services or audit) ideally within the FIG vertical
- Outstanding academic achievement
- Modelling experience and detailed market sector knowledge
- Detailed oriented with strong quantitative and analytical skills
- A bachelor's degree plus 1+ years of investment banking, accounting or consulting experience
- Effective verbal and written communication
