Team Leader Operator

**About The Role**:
**ARC**are seeking a motivated individual to join our **McGrath’s Hill** branch in an **Team Leader Operator**role. You will have the opportunity to join a small, community minded and high performing team. You will lead the Operators to achieve KPIs and drive a safety-first culture while advancing your experience in steel processing, pre-fabrication and distribution.

**This role offers day shifts only, rotating weekly between a 6am to 2pm shift or an 8am to 4pm shift.**

In addition to rotating shifts each week, you will also have the opportunity to rotate between duties weekly, providing variety in your day to day, this includes but is not limited to loading/unloading trucks, packaging and producing steel products.

You will also be supported by the** Australian Reinforcing Company** in acquiring relevant tickets required to manage your role as an operator, while receiving continuous support from the leadership team to develop your skills further.

Your key duties will include:

- Operating bending and cutting machinery for bar, steel and mesh products
- Leading a small team of operators and driving daily performance
- Overhead crane operation
- Forklift Operation
- General storeman duties - picking, packing, loading, and unloading trucks
- Championing safety procedures to the highest standard
- Involvement in process improvement initiatives

Further, you will also have an opportunity to get to know your fellow co-workers with monthly BBQ’s and team bonding sessions
