**Must have experience in the following areas**:

- Mental Health
- Youth or Welfare experience
- Complex care
- Minimum Diploma of Community welfare, mental health or Youth work
- Minimum of two years experience in the community sector

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide individual support services and direct care for people with disability
- Support the client in community participation programs
- Provide accurate and detailed incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers
- Supporting with Domestic activities and assistance with personal care
- Manual handling including hoist transfers - manual, electric / assisted standing
- Medication assistance
- Assist with meal preparation
- Willingness to work with individuals with complex behaviors of concern
- Maintaining records of client progress

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leongatha, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
