Leading Hand/dozer Operators

Due to our business going through exciting new growth together with securing some of the largest infrastructure projects across Victoria, we now have multiple positions available for a **Leading Hand** and **Dozer Operators** to join our existing team of Operators **based in Langwarrin, VICTORIA**.

**You will have key responsibility in**:
**Leading Hand**:
This is an exciting role that will involve long term key project work, providing a fantastic career move where you can build strong relationships and play a key leadership role to your peers, as well as:

- Ensure all activities comply with ResourceCo’s safety policies and regulatory health and safety requirements
- Influence and educate staff in Safety, in order to promote a continuous improvement mindset
- Ensure appropriately trained Operators are available to meet demand
- Oversee the Clean Fill site operations, ensuring activity is in accordance with the all necessary requirements
- Assist and lead with implementation of operational improvement opportunities
- Manage receipt of materials ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Ensure Planning Permits, EPA License conditions are met
- Ensure all company and hired equipment is maintained in line with manufacturers standards and are always operating safety and efficiently
- Ensure all pre-starts checks are completed in line with company procedures
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance costs are managed appropriately
- Undertake any other duties, as required

**Dozer Operators**:

- Ensure that Daily / Weekly / Monthly production targets are met
- Assist with Plant Maintenance when required
- Ensure all machines and equipment are maintained regularly and to a high standard, to optimise productivity
- Operate in a safe manner at all times to optimise machine performance and operational requirements
- Process correct products and volumes to meet customer requirements
- Comply at all times with ResourceCo’s WHS policies and procedures
- Report all incidents or near misses and take action where requried
- Ensure all daily log sheets and required checks have been carried out
- Have the flexibility to undertake/assist in any task within skill range

**About you**:

- Experience in a leading hand/dozer operator role, preferably within the Quarrying Industry, Earthmoving, or related industry (_Desirable but not essential)_
- Must hold current tickets for **2 or more **of the following: HC, HR, LL, LZ, LF, LE, LR, LS, LB.
- Intermediate computer skills
- Current Victorian driver’s license
- Asbestos Identification and Handling Training
- Strong organization and people skills
- Ability to proactively solve problems and present practical workplace solutions
