We are looking for energetic, engaging and enthusiastic Exercise Physiologists to deliver our foundational sensorimotor integration and neurodevelopmental program. You will receive all the training you need to increase your sensorimotor and neurodevelopmental knowledge and over time will have the opportunity to use your skills and experience to help children meet more advanced goals.

**New Graduate Program**

As part of the New Graduate Program at Brain Train, you will be assigned a Senior Exercise Physiologist as your supervisor and they will guide you through your training and induction process. They will provide ongoing supervision in a structured and tailored way to ensure you feel supported and confident to fulfil the requirements of your role. You will be exposed to other disciplines as part of your learning which includes observational sessions with Occupational therapists, Speech Pathologists and Physiotherapists here at Brain Train.

As you progress through your training, responsibilities and role-specific tasks will be increased in line with realistic time frames of a new graduate’s experience.

**You will be involved in**:

- Providing interventions to target reflex and sensorimotor integration whilst considering an individual’s sensory processing strengths and challenges, self-regulation, and motor differences
- Facilitating functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualised goals
- Implementing, monitoring and reviewing treatment plans
- Conducting Neurodevelopmental Efficiency Tests to determine baseline and post-treatment data
- Providing high-quality feedback and education to parents and caregivers
- Advocating for the child and family and supporting self-advocacy skills
- Maintaining high-quality documentation including written assessments and reports, and case notes for all clients
- Together with all staff, you will have a shared and overriding responsibility to support the company’s clients and their parents, carers and guardians during all contact points with the Company
- Compliance with the NDIS Code of Conduct

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
- Appropriate Registration with ESSA (AEP)
- NDIS Workers Clearance and Working with Children Checks
- First aid and CPR accreditation
- This is a hands-on and active role. You will regularly be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift
- Demonstrated history of positive interaction with children with special needs or complex challenges
- Demonstrate intuition, and have high levels of energy, engagement and enthusiasm
