North Lakes, Australia Lotus Academic Coaching and Tutoring Full time

Lotus Academic Coaching and Tutoring is an education support service based in North Lakes, aiming to deliver high-quality tutoring and academic coaching for Primary and Secondary students. We are currently seeking qualified teachers, university students, and pre-service teachers to join our growing team.

**About the Role**:
This role is suitable for:

- Qualified Primary or Secondary Teachers interested in academic coaching roles, and
- University students / teachers-in-training / graduates interested in tutoring roles

You will work with students in small groups(maximum of 9) or 1:1 settings, delivering structured sessions aligned with student needs.

**Hours of work**:
Monday to Friday 4:00pm - 6:30pm during QLD School Term Times only.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver tutoring and/or coaching sessions for Primary or Secondary students
- Build student confidence, study skills, and learning strategies
- Follow structured lesson plans and adapt to individual learning needs
- Maintain brief session notes and progress feedback
- Communicate professionally with the Lotus team

**About You**:
You may be:

- A qualified Primary or Secondary Teacher, or
- A university student or pre-service teacher, or
- A graduate with strong academic skills and an interest in teaching

You are:

- Confident and clear in your teaching style
- Reliable, organised, and professional
- Comfortable working with children and adolescents
- Committed to maintaining appropriate professional boundaries

**Requirements**:

- Blue Card / Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to work on-site at North Lakes
- Availability for regular after-school sessions during school terms
- Teaching registration preferred for coaching roles (where applicable)

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $24.95 - $95.00 per hour
