Wenona is seeking dynamic and passionate Violin Tutor to join our school’s outstanding Performing Arts faculty based in North Sydney, NSW and inspire our young women through dynamic teaching practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

**Key priorities**
- Teaching weekly private lessons to students from Junior to Senior School age.
- Excellent technical skills in violin playing and teaching.
- Ability to teach and manage behaviour of students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Before school, during and after-school teaching times, available depending on both tutor availability and allocation of students.
- Availability to work in our Junior School Instrumental Program for Year 3.
- Interest in our co-curricular program (ie. Music Weekends, Musicals, Workshops and Ensembles)

**Education and Experience**
- Experience teaching school students from Kindergarten to 12 in private lessons.
- Experience directing chamber groups or in junior string group programs.
- Tertiary qualifications in teaching violin performance.
- Experience in teaching AMEB Syllabus and Suzuki method.
- Previous experience teaching in a school setting.
