**The Role**:
Our client, a high-profile Commonwealth Department, is seeking experienced Commercial Adviser secondees to support its procurement activities.

**The Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities will include:

- development and approval of internal approval documents such as Endorsement to Proceed, Liability Risk Assessment, Tender Evaluation Plans, Contract Negotiation Directive, S23 delegate submissions other internal approval documents as required;
- engagement with internal and external stakeholders for procurement and policy guidance;
- engagement with internal legal teams and/or External Legal Service providers for legal, probity, commercial and contracting advice;
- preparation of Draft Contract Documents, including Request for Tenders, Conditions of Contract, Statement of Work, and associated contracting artefacts as required;
- support contract negotiation activities;
- contribute to achievement of contract signature; and
- provide other commercial and contracting support as required.

**The Requirements**:
Knowledge and experience in the ASDEFCON suite of tendering and contracting documentation is highly desirable.

At least 5 years’ Commonwealth commercial experience and experience working on large, high-profile Commonwealth procurement projects would be highly regarded.

A current NV 1 clearance is essential.
