We are looking for Disability Support Workers in Gympie to provide support to participants within their home and across the community. This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach, who is energetic and excited to make a difference in people’s lives and is passionate about the work they do.

Tasks and Responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to)
- Assistance with Personal Care
- Cleaning / Housekeeping - laundry, shopping
- Administering Medication
- Support accessing the community and encouraging social participation
- Understanding of disability / mental health support

Requirements for the role or the ability to obtain:
National Police clearance check Working with Children, Blue Card Yellow Card/NDIS Worker screening check, Minimum Cert III Individual Support or equivalent, Current First Aid/CPR, Reliable vehicle/ driver's license, Smart Phone, Flexible availability to cover days, nights, weekends and sleepover shifts.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $21.88 - $49.05 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gympie, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
