**About The Role**

The New Fulfillment Team's mission is to enable new use cases and fulfillment types for the Delivery business in ANZ, enabling market leading reliability, economics and Delivery People experience as we scale. The delivery of groceries, alcohol and other retail goods is different to restaurant food, so we have to think differently as our new use cases and fulfillment types scale.

The New Fulfillment Team sits within the broader Marketplace and Delivery People organisation. It is this team's role to act as a bridge to bring the power of our marketplace to life for our new lines of business across Australian and New Zealand (Grocery, New Verticals and Direct).

**Your Impact in Role**
- The New Fulfillment Lead is accountable for driving improved reliability and experience outcomes for our New Verticals and Direct businesses, including supporting the launch of our new Courier Pick, Pack and Pay model. This includes ownership of core metrics such as cost per trip, delivery completion rates and safety incident rates.
- We are looking for a strong leader who will own their core metrics on a weekly basis, as well as setting a clear vision and initiatives to drive step-change improvement over the medium term.
- The New Fulfillment Lead will lead a team of 3-4 direct reports. You will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience of your team and supporting them in their longer term career objectives.
- This is a highly cross-functional role, so it is critical that you can create a clearly defined operating model across multiple teams and lines of business.

**The Experience You’ll Bring**
- ** Leadership and Vision setting**:This is a leadership role within the Marketplace and Delivery People Org, with a high performing team. It is critical that you can set the vision and direction for your team, and play the role of a supportive manager to your team.
- ** Stakeholder management**: This is a highly cross-functional team. You’ll need to engage and obtain buy-in from stakeholders from across multiple lines of business (New Verticals & Direct) as well as cross-functional teams (Safety, Legal, Comm Ops).
- ** A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity**: Launching new lines of business isn’t easy, and there isn’t always an existing plan for you to follow. You’ll have the support of your manager, the New Verticals Team, and cross-functional partners, however you’ll need to be the one driving this forward autonomously.
- ** A willingness to ‘get into the weeds’, with strong analytics and a continuous improvement mindset.** You won’t get it right on day 1, or week 1, or month 1However, by being in the detail and deeply understanding the numbers, you’ll be best placed to advise and/or execute on improvement opportunities.
