**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a Maintenance Operations Planning Analyst to join our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services team supporting Deeper Level Maintenance (DLM) Services on the P8-A Poseidon platform at Royal Australian Air Force Base Edinburgh. The Boeing P-8A Poseidon is truly a multi-mission maritime patrol aircraft, excelling at anti-submarine warfare; anti-surface warfare; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and search and rescue.

**Security Clearance**

You will be required to hold, or successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (NV1) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time. Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.

This is a unique opportunity to lay the foundations as the teams Maintenance Planner. This role is newly created and is a blank canvas for the right person to jump into.

**Responsibilities**
- Determine and develop the P8-A DLM planning documentation based on the aircraft planned servicing schedule,
- Develop and populate the Aviation Maintenance Management software environment (cMRO via ERP)
- Plan the aircraft DLM maintenance schedule,
- Develop the scheduling and maintenance progression tools (SWAMP) and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Integrate and schedule aircraft modification and technical instructions into the DLM program,
- Liaises with the customer for the induction and delivery of DLM aircraft and Provide planning support to MRO stakeholders
- Analyse aircraft maintenance forecast for inclusion in the DLM program,
- Maintain the scheduling and maintenance progression tools (SWAMP),
- CAMM2 Data management duties.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Maintenance Controller / Planner in an aircraft maintenance environment, or similar role,
- Strong and interpersonal skills at all levels with the ability to work in a team environment and communication across multiple levels,
- Applicable aircraft trade qualification, or similar trade to be able to evaluate technical source data and specifications,
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high tempo operating environment, whilst maintain a focus on safety.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, and
- Computer Aided Maintenance Management (CAMM2) System qualifications (Highly Desirable).
